Yes, I’d say so. Look at what they’ve been through and what they are still going through.

No..Black Americans (at least the ones who are decendents of American slaves) are very patriotic..This is our home and land of our ancestors. So there would be no other place to go if it got screwed up.

Michelle Obamas words were taken out of context, she said its the first time she REALLY proud of her country. That dosent mean she was never proud of her country. The media has just painted her that way.

If my son became president I would REALLY be proud of my country as compared to just being proud.

Actually, I have pride in my nation.. There’s so much, that we as African American did for this country. Of course we had really bad times in history but if wasn’t for them..Michelle Obama wouldn’t be talking on talk shows or even at the convention, or even Obama running for president.

not trying to be mean or anything…but just because another African American talks about issues in America doesn’t mean they represent all of us..

Honestly, I feel we are one of the most free and modern nations around the world, and I feel blessed to live in this country. Then again looking at history and current events, America is an evil country, and we the inhabitants of this will reap the evil seed The United States keeps planting around the world. From the Iran Contra affair to Suddam and many other events.

I have pride in who I am, so I would be proud to be whoever and wherever I was destined to exist. The truth is I love God, I am proud to be his creation. He destined, and appointed this time in history from me to live. I trust his judgement, and seek him in all things, and he will always direct my paths.

“Pride comes before a fall” When you have pride in someone, something, or any entities, and not God you are bound to fail. Everything in this world is only temporary and will pass away, God is Forever!

    Peace

We are proud, but we are more likely to criticize our country. Most of our pride is recent.
